The mountain that climbers dream about |
|
In 1865, the Matterhorn reigned as the last great unclimbed peak of Europe. Finally, The Matterhorn remains a strenuous climb, but with the aid of experienced guides, new and well-documented routes -- and stronger ropes! -- the summit is within reach of climbers who are in good phyical shape and have basic mountaineering skills. Please note that while there are gay and lesbian mountain climbers, there aren't enough of us for this trip to be run every year. We generally run it concurrently with our gay hiking week in the Alps, so that in the evenings you'll have a larger group in which to socialize.
