Hike under the Matterhorn

Switzerland. It's famous for watches and Swatches, for chocolates and cheeses, cog railroads, for St. Bernards and ski slopes. But if you've ever hiked here, you'll remember Switzerland best for its hundreds of miles of superb hiking trails.

Our first hiking trip, and still our most popular, is Edelweiss, based in the mountain village of Zermatt, just under the Matterhorn. So many gay men and lesbians have fallen in love with this region, after joining us on Edelweiss, that we've created a new week in the same spot.

Alpenglow is also based in Zermatt, in comfortable apartments. But we've designed it for people with moderate hiking experience. This allows us to explore trails that require a full day of walking. If you're comfortable hiking for a full day (typically 7 or 8 hours, with plenty of breaks), then Alpenglow is for you.
